Ava-joye Burnett is an EMMY and National Association of Black Journalists award-winning journalist. She’s currently a National Political Correspondent with Scripps News.
Ava-joye previously worked at WJZ-TV in Baltimore MD, WRIC-TV in Richmond, VA. and WHAG-News in Hagerstown, MD. She has a Masters of Studies in Law from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from American University.
