Leah Marville is a Fashion Model, Attorney-At-Law, Speaker, TV and Podcast host, Miss Barbados World 2009 and Entrepreneur. She has lived and traveled the world in her various capacities and has been named a Renaissance Woman of the Caribbean by The Trinidad Express Newspaper. As a model she has appeared in countless magazines including Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire Mag, worked with countless brands including, Nivea Visage, American Swiss, Skechers, Hyatt International Resorts and has been the face of numerous national commercials including Old Navy, Ebay and Dannon Yogurt. As an Attorney, Leah has practiced criminal, family, corporate, conveyancing and entertainment law in Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados including her work with the Human Rights Council of Jamaica where she oversaw the rights of death row inmates.
As Miss Barbados World, she became one of the country’s most successful contestants. She was awarded The Continental Beauty Queen of the Caribbean by the Miss World franchise, a first for Barbados. She was named by The Jamaica Observer newspaper as one of the 69 Most Powerful People in Jamaica and was voted as “The Sexiest Woman Alive” for 2009 by premier pageant magazine group Global Beauties.com. Her reign followed with her becoming the youngest franchise owner of the Miss Barbados World Pageant, delivering 4 Queens for the country. Leah Marville is also the recipient of two national awards awarded by the Government of Barbados, for her work in HIV and with the youth, along with several other awards from independent organizations.
She has hosted for US Network, BET-J Caribbean music show Wicked Style, and Splash! on BET’s sister station, CENTRIC. She has also produced and hosted her own show Passport 246 and a show following her charity’s work in “The Love Campaign School Tour” which aired throughout the Caribbean. Leah is also the face of many documentaries on Barbados, including Barbados Style on Wealth TV, as well as several television shows that continue to air throughout the Caribbean.
Leah is a signed model to Select Models and its commercial sister company Stewart Talent in Los Angeles, landing 4 national television commercials in just one year, among many other prestigious jobs. With all her travels, careers and life experiences, Leah finds her purpose in giving back to her community through her motivational platform BE DO BECOME which offers inspiring stories and advice through podcasts; shares personal development resources and coaching. She is the Author and Producer of the BE DO BECOME Yearly Personal Development and Productivity Planner which is a self-guided planner designed to coach people towards achieving their goals and transforming their lives. Her goal is to empower minority groups, especially Caribbean women to seek the highest version of themselves and pursue their dreams.
